2020 Black Lives Matter unrest
In 2020, people all over the world became very upset and angry because they felt like some police officers were treating black people unfairly. These people started a movement called Black Lives Matter to tell everyone that they want all people to be treated the same, no matter what they look like or where they come from.
Unfortunately, some protests got very loud and sometimes people hurt each other or burned things. This made some people very scared and angry, but it also made other people think more about how important it is to treat everyone fairly.
Lots of people are still talking about this issue and working on ways to make sure that everyone is treated equally and safely. It's important to always be kind and respectful to all people, no matter what they look like or where they come from.
