2020s in United Kingdom political history

2020 has been a really interesting year in politics in the United Kingdom! At the start of the year the United Kingdom was getting ready to leave the European Union, which was an important decision that will affect life in the UK for many years. Later in the year, we also had a general election which decided who would lead the country for the next few years. The result of the election was a big win for the Conservative party, and their new Prime Minister Boris Johnson. So far, Boris Johnson has focused on delivering Brexit and encouraging more business investment in the UK. We don't know yet what else he may do in the 2020s, but it's sure to be an exciting decade in British politics!
