A 321 kinematic structure is a type of robotic arm. It is made up of 3 parts, each of which is connected to another part in a way that allows them to move smoothly. The parts are made of metal and are called links. Each link is able to rotate on its axis, so the whole arm, made up of those 3 links, is able to move in any direction. The kinematic part of the name comes from the idea that the arm is able to move like a living creature (kinematics is the study of motion).
