4D-RCS Reference Model Architecture

The 4D Reference Model Architecture is a way of organizing data and systems so they're easier to understand, use, and manage. It works by breaking down components and data into four main areas, or dimensions, which are then connected to create a complete system.

The four dimensions, or parts, of the model are Data (what kind of information is being stored), Functions (what tasks need to be done with the data), Resources (what people, hardware, and software are available to do tasks), and Networks (what connections need to be made in order to send information, like a computer network).

The 4D Model makes it easier to understand how all these parts work together to make a system work properly. It helps identify which parts need to be connected and where, which tasks need to be done and by whom, and which data needs to be stored and where. This makes it easier for people to make changes to a system or create new systems quickly and efficiently.
