ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

4DX

4dx stands for "4D eXperience" and it's a way of watching movies that makes you feel like you're really part of the action. This means that you not only watch the movie, but you also feel like you're experiencing it through four different ways - sight, sound, touch, and smell.

Let's start with sight. You get to watch the movie on a big screen, but the picture is so clear and bright that it feels like you're really there. You might even see things in 3D, which makes them look like they're jumping right out of the screen and into your lap.

Next up is sound. The theater has special speakers that make the sound in the movie louder and clearer. This means that when something big happens in the movie, like an explosion or a loud scream, you can hear it really well and it feels like you're right in the middle of it.

Now onto touch. The seats are special too - they can move and vibrate when something exciting happens in the movie. So if there's a car chase scene, you might feel like you're moving too! It's important to note that these seats never move too much so you don't fall off or get too scared.

Finally, smell. Yes, smell! The theater has special machines that can make certain smells in the room when something happens in the movie. For example, if there's a scene where someone is cooking a delicious meal, you might be able to smell the food in the air!

All of these things work together to create a really exciting and immersive movie-watching experience. So when you watch a movie in 4dx, it's not just a movie - it's a whole adventure!
