Our body needs energy to do things like run, jump and think. This energy comes from tiny things called ATP (adenosine triphosphate) that are like little batteries in our cells. But, for ATP to get where it needs to go, it needs a special protein called the ATP10 protein to help it. The ATP10 protein is like a delivery person that takes the ATP to the right place in our cells where it can be used for energy. Without the ATP10 protein, the ATP wouldn't know where to go and we wouldn't have the energy we need to do all the fun things we like to do.
