Abolition of the slave trade in the Persian Gulf means that trading people, who are called slaves, is no longer allowed in the region. People used to be taken from different parts of the world and brought to the Persian Gulf to be sold and forced to work for their 'owners'. To stop this, people decided to make it against the law and not allow it anymore. This means that it is now illegal to buy, sell and own slaves in the Persian Gulf, and anyone caught doing so can be punished.
