ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Accessible Books Consortium

The Accessible Books Consortium is like a cool club that helps kids and grown-ups who have trouble reading regular books. You see, some people have eyesight or other problems that make it hard to read books with small letters or pictures. But the ABC makes special books that can be read on computers, phones or tablets so that everyone can enjoy reading.

They also help make sure that these special books are available to people all over the world in lots of different languages. This club works with people and groups all over the world to make sure these special books are made and shared with everyone who needs them. That way everyone can learn, have fun and enjoy reading stories no matter who they are or where they live!
