Achromatic telescope

An achromatic telescope is a special type of telescope that helps people see things really far away, like stars and planets. It is made up of two lenses, which are like pieces of special glass that help us see things better.

One lens is called a convex lens and the other is called a concave lens. These lenses work together to make the things we look at through the telescope look sharper and clearer.

The special thing about an achromatic telescope is that it helps us see things more clearly by correcting a problem called chromatic aberration. Chromatic aberration is when different colors of light bend differently as they pass through a lens, which can make things look blurry or have a halo around them.

So an achromatic telescope fixes this problem by using two lenses made of different types of glass, which help to correct the way the different colors of light bend. This way, when we look through the telescope, we can see things that are really far away more clearly and accurately!
