ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Active queue management

Active Queue Management (AQM) is a way that computers can keep track of a lot of things at one time. It's like when you have a lot of chores to do, and you make a list so you don't forget anything - AQM makes sure that the computer doesn't forget things, too. AQM helps the computer work more quickly and efficiently by making sure that only the most important tasks are handled first. It also helps reduce the amount of traffic on the network, so that there aren't too many websites trying to load at the same time. AQM helps make sure that everything works smoothly!
