Acts of Apostles

Okay kiddo, so the Acts of Apostles is a book in the Bible that tells us about the early days of Christianity, after Jesus had gone back up to heaven.

The book was written by a man named Luke, who was a friend of one of the apostles, named Paul. Luke wanted to write down all the stories he had heard about how Christianity spread throughout different parts of the world, and how Paul and other followers of Jesus did a lot of work to help people understand who Jesus was.

In the Acts of Apostles, you'll read about how the first Christians had to deal with all sorts of challenges, like persecution from people who didn't like their beliefs, disagreements over how to worship, and even things like being thrown in jail! But they never gave up, and they kept spreading the word about Jesus and helping people who needed it.

You'll also read about some really amazing miracles that happened during this time. For example, Peter (who was one of Jesus' close friends) healed a man who couldn't walk, and later even brought a woman who had died back to life!

Overall, the Acts of Apostles is a really important book for Christians because it helps us understand where we came from and what we believe in. It shows us that even though following Jesus can be hard, it's worth it because it brings love, hope, and joy to ourselves and others.
