Acts of John

Hi there little one! Do you know what a storybook is? The Acts of John is actually a kind of storybook - but it's not like any other book you've read before!

The Acts of John is a set of stories about a man named John who was a friend of a very special person named Jesus. John and Jesus were so close that some people even called John one of Jesus' "disciples" - which means that he learned a lot of important things from Jesus and wanted to share those things with other people.

In these stories, John travels all around telling people about the things he learned from Jesus. He also does some really amazing things - like turning water into wine, healing sick people, and even raising a dead person back to life!

But not everyone who heard about John and his teachings liked him. There were some mean people who wanted to stop him from talking about Jesus and sharing his wonderful message. John had to be very brave and use his special powers to keep spreading the word.

In the end, though, John's stories and teachings were so powerful that they inspired many people to believe in Jesus and follow his teachings too. And that's why the Acts of John is still such an important book - because it tells us all about the incredible things that John did to spread the word of Jesus and change people's lives for the better.
