Adam Smith's America

Adam Smith was an economist who lived during the 1700s in America and wrote a book called The Wealth of Nations, which was about how economic systems work and how countries should run their economies. He was one of the first to talk about the idea of a free market, where people can buy and sell things with each other, and he argued that the government should let people do this without getting in their way. In his book, he described how economies should be run and how governments could help their citizens become more prosperous. Adam Smith's ideas have influenced how the US runs its economy today, and many people think of him as the "father of modern capitalism".
