Adaptive Resonance Theory

Adaptive resonance theory (ART) is a way of thinking about how the brain works. It is based on the idea that the brain is constantly searching for patterns, which it uses to make predictions about the world around us. ART suggests that the brain is able to adjust the way it processes information so that it finds the most relevant patterns and can make the most accurate predictions. This means that the brain can adapt to changes in the environment, and even learn from past experiences. By using this way of thinking, scientists can understand better how the brain works and design artificial intelligence that can imitate some of the brain's functions.
