Addition

Addition is a way of combining numbers together. You can think of it like putting two piles of things together. For example, when you have 5 apples and then 3 apples, if you add them together you can think of it like putting the 5 apples and the 3 apples together to get a total of 8 apples. So when we add, we are taking two numbers and putting them together to get a bigger number.
