ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Advanced electronic signature

Advanced electronic signatures are a way of signing documents without needing any kind of pen and paper. Instead, you use computers and special programs to put a special code on a document that shows that it was you who signed it. It's like a digital version of putting your signature on something, but it is much more secure and reliable. It is used for things like making sure contracts and agreements are real and that the person signing them is actually who they say they are.
