An advanced stop line is a special area for bikes that is painted with green paint and located at traffic lights. This area is for bikes to wait at the traffic light in front of cars.
The advanced stop line helps keep bikes safe because they have their own space to wait at the traffic light where they can be seen by drivers. This also makes it easier for the bikes to get going again once the light turns green because they have a head start at the intersection.
Remember, bikes should always stop at the red light just like cars, but they get to wait in a special green box at the front of the intersection!
