Aeclanum

Aeclanum was a city a long, long time ago in a place called Italy. It was a really important city because it was in a really good spot for trading things like food and supplies with other cities around it. People who lived in Aeclanum were really good at making things, like pottery and wine. They also built some amazing buildings, like a big amphitheater where they would have really cool shows and games.

But unfortunately, over time, the city started to get less and less important. There were other cities that were more popular for trading, and people started moving away from Aeclanum to go live in those places. Eventually, the city was pretty much abandoned and left empty.

Now, many years later, people like to visit Aeclanum to see what's left of the old city. There are still some of those amazing buildings standing, and you can walk around and imagine what life was like there a long time ago. It's pretty cool to visit and learn about history like that!
