African Australians

African Australians are people who were born in Australia but have African ancestry. It means their parents, grandparents, or other relatives on their family tree came from a country in Africa like Nigeria, Kenya, or South Africa. They usually keep their African culture and often speak at least two languages (like English and an African language). African Australians are a big part of the diverse population of Australia, which is made up of people from many different backgrounds.
