African Pygmies

African Pygmies are a group of people who live in the rainforests of Central Africa. They are called pygmies because they are usually shorter than most people, but that doesn't mean they are not just as important as everyone else!

The Pygmies have been living in the forests for a very long time, and they have a special way of living. They build their homes with materials that they find in the forest like leaves and branches. They also know how to use the resources around them to hunt for food and find medicine when they are sick.

Each Pygmy group has its own language and culture, but they all share some similarities. For example, they love to dance and sing to celebrate important events like weddings or births.

However, life for Pygmies has not always been easy. In the past, they were often treated unfairly or even enslaved by others because of their height and lifestyle. But many people today recognize and appreciate the Pygmies for their unique way of living and the important role they play in the biodiversity of the rainforest.

Overall, African Pygmies are a special group of people who live in harmony with nature and have a rich cultural heritage.
