African-American veterans lynched after World War I

After World War I, African-American veterans sometimes faced a terrible fate when they returned from overseas. In some parts of the US, they were lynched, which means they were attacked and killed by a group of people who wanted to hurt them. This was wrong and something that no one should ever experience.
