Afro-textured hair

Afro-textured hair is a type of hair that many Black people have. It's really curly and grows in tight, spiral-shaped curls. Imagine a slinky that's all curled up - that's what afro-textured hair looks like.

When you have afro-textured hair, it's important to take care of it so it stays healthy and strong. You have to use special products like shampoo and conditioner that are made just for afro-textured hair. You also have to be really careful when you comb or brush it, because it can easily break or get damaged if you're too rough.

Some people with afro-textured hair like to wear it in different styles, like braids or twists. Some even like to wear their hair in a big, fluffy "afro" style. No matter how you wear your hair, though, it's important to love and appreciate it just the way it is.
