Age class structure is like dividing people up by how old they are. For example, you might have one group of people who are all 0-5 years old, another group of people who are all 5-10 years old, and another group of people who are all 10-15 years old. Then, you would have different rules and expectations for each group. For example, a 0-5 year old might not have to go to school yet, while a 5-10 year old might have to start going to school. This way, everybody gets the kind of help and instruction they need.
