Age of candidacy

Age of candidacy is when someone becomes old enough to run for an elected office, like President of the United States. In the United States, you must be at least 35 years old to become President. That means you have to be 35 years old or more to run for President. So if someone wants to become President, they have to be 35 years old or older.
