Agemochi

Hey there kiddo! Have you ever heard of a special type of dessert called "agemochi"? It's a yummy Japanese treat that's made from two ingredients: sticky rice and a type of sweet bean paste called "anko".

First, the rice is cooked and then pounded until it becomes a smooth, stretchy dough-like consistency. Then, it's shaped into small, flat discs and fried in oil until it's crispy and golden brown on the outside.

After the mochi (that's what we call the sticky rice cake) is fried up, it's filled with a spoonful of the sweet anko paste. Anko is made by boiling azuki beans with sugar until it's thick and deliciously sweet.

So when you take a bite of agemochi, you get a fun contrast of textures - crispy on the outside and soft and gooey on the inside. And the combination of the slightly salty rice cake with the sweet anko filling is a real treat for your taste buds.

In short, agemochi is a tasty Japanese snack made from sticky rice and sweet bean paste that's fried up until crispy on the outside and filled with sweet gooey goodness on the inside. Yum!
