Agriculture in North Korea

Agriculture is when people grow food and other stuff on farms, and North Korea is a country where they do this too. But North Korea has some problems with growing enough food for everyone. This is because they have some difficulties with the weather, the soil, and sometimes the equipment they use to grow the crops.

North Koreans mostly grow rice, corn, and soybeans, which are all very important foods. They also grow potatoes, vegetables like cabbage and radishes, and fruits like apples and pears. However, they have trouble growing enough of it because they don't have as much equipment as other countries, and sometimes they don't have good weather or enough water.

Also, North Korea has had problems with getting enough food to all of their people. Sometimes, there are shortages of food, which means that people don't have enough to eat. This can be especially hard for kids, who need good food to grow up healthy and strong.

But the government of North Korea is trying to fix these problems. They are working to make better equipment for farming and to make sure that farmers have enough water and other resources to grow enough crops. They are also trying to make sure that everyone has enough food to eat, so that nobody goes hungry.
