Ahl al-Kisa

Ahl al-kisa is a group of special people in Islam who are very dear and important to Prophet Muhammad. They are his daughter Fatima, his cousin and son-in-law Ali, and their two sons Hasan and Husayn.

Prophet Muhammad loved these people very much and always treated them with kindness and respect. He would often call them to come close to him and cover them with his cloak, which is called a kisa in Arabic.

The story of ahl al-kisa is very famous and it goes like this: one day, Prophet Muhammad was with Fatima, Ali, Hasan and Husayn, and suddenly an angel named Gabriel came to them. The angel told the Prophet that God had sent him to show his love for these special people and to remind everyone that they were very important in Islam.

Then, the Prophet took his cloak and covered Fatima, Ali, Hasan and Husayn with it. He said, “These are my family, and whoever loves them, loves me; and whoever disobeys them, disobeys me.”

This story is very important to Muslims because it shows how much Prophet Muhammad loved and respected his family. It also reminds us to love and respect his family as well. That's why ahl al-kisa is very special and important to all Muslims.
