Air Infiltration and Ventilation Centre

Air infiltration is when air from the outside comes in through the tiny gaps and cracks in a building. It can happen even if all the windows and doors are closed. This happens because the building is not completely airtight.

Ventilation means bringing fresh air into the building and letting out old, stale air. This is important to keep the air inside the building clean and healthy to breathe.

An air infiltration and ventilation centre is a place where experts help figure out how much air is coming into a building when it's not supposed to and how to fix it. They also help figure out how much air needs to come into the building for proper ventilation, and how to get rid of stale air.

Think of it like a detective who looks for clues to solve a mystery. The centre helps find out where the gaps and cracks are in the building and how to seal them up. They also help find the best way to bring in fresh air and get rid of the old, stuffy air.

Without an air infiltration and ventilation centre, buildings could be filled with dirty or stale air, which could make us sick. That's why it's important to have these centres to help keep our buildings clean and healthy.
