Aizuchi

Aizuchi is when you are talking to someone and they make little noises like "uh-huh" or "hmm" to show that they are listening and understanding what you are saying. Just like when you are coloring a picture and someone tells you it looks good and you say "thank you" to show you heard and understood what they said. It's like a polite way of saying "I hear you and I understand".
