Albania under the Bulgarian Empire

Okay, imagine there was a big group of people called the Bulgarian Empire. They lived in a place called Bulgaria and they were very strong and powerful.

Now, Albania was a smaller group of people who lived in a different place near Bulgaria. The Bulgarians wanted to control Albania and make it part of their empire.

So, they sent their army to Albania and took over. This means that the Bulgarian Empire was in charge of Albania and the Albanians had to do what they said.

Sometimes things were good and the Bulgarians would help the Albanians with their problems, but sometimes the Bulgarians were mean and would make the Albanians do things they didn't want to do.

Eventually, the Albanians didn't want to be controlled by the Bulgarians anymore, so they fought back and eventually became their own country again.
