Alberger process

Alberger Process is a process that makes salt. Salt helps make food taste better. To make the salt, sea water is pumped into big containers. When the water is in the containers, it is heated up to very high temperatures. The heat causes the water to evaporate, or go up into the air as steam. As the steam goes up, it leaves behind the salt. The salt is then collected and put into bags to be used in cooking.
