All-Around

All-around is when someone is good at many different things. Just like how you can be good at playing with toys, coloring pictures, and singing songs, there are athletes who are good at different sports. Sometimes they compete in more than one sport or event, like gymnastics or decathlon, and their scores from all the different parts are added up to determine who is the best all-around athlete. Just like how you might get a gold star for doing well in different activities at school, these athletes earn medals for being the best at everything.
