Allometry

Allometry is a type of science that studies the relationship between the size of a thing (like an animal) and the shape it has. Allometry looks at how different sizes of things have different shapes, which can help us better understand what things can do. For example, scientists might use allometry to look at how an elephant's trunk is bigger than its head, so it can reach and grab food that is out of reach.
