Allotransplantation is a type of surgery where doctors take a part from one living person, and put it inside someone else. It's a way for doctors to make somebody healthier if their body can't do something it needs to do. For example, if someone's heart isn't working right, the doctors might do an allotransplantation and give them a healthy heart from someone else. In this way, the person who gets the new heart is able to be healthier.
