Almoravids

Okay kiddo, imagine you and your friends have a special club where you all wear a special bracelet. You only let certain people join your club if they also wear the same bracelet. Well, a long long time ago there were people called the Almoravids who were like a big club but instead of a bracelet, they believed in a certain religion called Islam. They wanted everyone to join their club so they went around and spread their religion to different places. They became very powerful and even took over a big part of Spain! But eventually, other people didn't like how strict the Almoravids were about their religion, so they started to fight them. And that's the story of the Almoravids, a powerful group of people who wanted everyone to share their beliefs.
