ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Alter-globalisation

Alter-globalisation is a way of looking at the world which puts people and the environment ahead of profits and big businesses. It's an idea that encourages people to look at the wider impact of our global connections and to make changes to the way we do things so that everyone and our planet can benefit. So instead of big businesses controlling the decisions about how money is spent and how resources are used, alter-globalisation uses more democratic methods of decision-making so that everyone gets a say in what happens.
