Alternative future

An alternative future is a kind of story that imagines what life would be like if something was different than it is today. For example, an alternative future story might imagine what the world would be like if everyone had superpowers, or if robots had taken over every job, or if certain countries had different leaders. In an alternative future story, the author creates a world that is different from the world that we live in now.
