Amarna letter EA 144

So, a long long time ago, when people didn't have phones or emails to talk to each other, they used to send letters to communicate with other people who were far away. In those days, there was a king in a place called Egypt and another king in a place called Babylon. These two kings used to send letters to each other to say hello and to talk about important stuff.

One day, someone found some of these letters that the kings had sent to each other. They were called the Amarna letters. One of those letters was called EA 144. In this letter, the king of Babylon was writing to the king of Egypt. He was saying that he was sending a messenger to the king of Egypt to talk about some important things.

The letter also talked about how the people in Babylon were feeling scared. They thought that someone was going to come and attack them. The king of Babylon was asking the king of Egypt for help, so he could protect his people. That's what the Amarna letter EA 144 was all about.
