Amastia

Amastia is a very rare medical condition that can happen to some people when they are born. When a baby girl is born with amastia, it means she does not have any breasts at all. This happens because the breast tissue that usually grows during puberty does not form properly before birth.

Think of it like building a house. When a baby girl is growing in her mother's tummy, her body is trying to build breasts just like how builders try to build a house. But sometimes, something goes wrong with the building materials and the house cannot be built. In the same way, sometimes the breast tissue just doesn't form properly, and so the baby girl is born without any breasts.

Girls and women with amastia can still live happy and healthy lives. They can choose to wear specially made prosthetic breasts (like fake, but very realistic, boobs) or not wear anything at all. It's important to remember that everyone is unique and there's no wrong way to look or feel.
