Ambulance chasing

Ambulance chasing is when a lawyer or law firm tries to get clients who have been hurt in accidents, specifically ones that involve a lot of money. It's called ambulance chasing because sometimes lawyers will go to hospitals and wait outside for people who have been hurt to come out. They will then try to get them to hire the lawyer to help them get money for their injuries. This is not a nice thing to do because the people are probably scared and in pain, and they might not even need a lawyer. In fact, some states have laws against ambulance chasing because it’s unfair to the people who are hurt and need time to heal before deciding what to do.
