America's Great Depression

America's Great Depression was a time in the 1930s when there wasn't enough money to go around. Lots of people had to leave their homes because they couldn't afford to stay. Even if you did have a job, it was hard to make enough money to buy food and other things you needed. The economy was so bad that businesses closed and most people couldn't find jobs. During this time, it was hard for people to stay happy and life was very difficult.
