American Association of Petroleum Geologists

The American Association of Petroleum Geologists (AAPG) is a group of people who are interested in rocks and minerals that are used to make things like fuel for cars and trucks. These people study the Earth to find places where these rocks and minerals are located underground. They use special equipment to find these things and then use that information to help people who make fuel find it more easily. It's like a treasure hunt, but instead of finding gold, they find rocks that can make fuel!
