The American Ethical Union is an organization in which people come together to talk about being good and doing the right thing. They talk about important topics, like treating others with kindness, being fair, and protecting the environment. The people who are part of the American Ethical Union believe that it is important to be good and help others, even if there isn't a reward for doing so. This is kind of like sharing your toys with a friend, even if they don't have toys to share back. Being part of this group helps people become better and more ethical people.
