American Society of Criminology

The American Society of Criminology is a group of people who are very interested in the ways that crime affects our world. They study lots of different things, like why people commit crimes, what happens to people who get caught committing crimes, and how we can make our society safer so that fewer crimes happen in the future.

It's like if you and your friends were playing a game and someone kept cheating. You might want to figure out why they are cheating and how you can make sure everyone follows the rules so that the game is fair for everyone. That's what the American Society of Criminology does, but instead of a game, they study real life and how we can make it better for everyone.
