American football in the United States

American football is a sport played in the United States. It is a team sport between two teams of 11 players each. Each team tries to get points by moving the ball across the field and into the other team's end zone. The team with the most points at the end of the game wins. In order to score points, the players can run with the ball, throw the ball, or kick the ball through the other team's goalposts. The players wear pads and helmets to protect themselves.
