American hegemony

Okay kiddo, so let's talk about American hegemony.

Do you know what "hegemony" means? It's when one country is really powerful and kinda runs things.

In the world, America is a super powerful country. It has a lot of money, military power, and influence on other countries. This means America can often make other countries do what it wants.

For example, let's say you're playing with a group of friends and you have the biggest and best toys. You might be able to tell your friends what game to play or how to play it because you have the most toys and they want to play with them too.

It's kinda like that with America and other countries. Other countries might follow what America does because they want to get help or resources from America. This is called American hegemony.

However, sometimes other countries might not like when America gets to make all the decisions. They might want to have more say or power themselves. So, American hegemony can be a complicated and sometimes controversial topic.
