Amir al-Mu'minin

Amir al-mu'minin, which means "commander of the believers", is a title given to a very important religious figure in Islamic faith and tradition. It is usually given to the leader of the Muslim community, and they are expected to lead the people in a religious and moral way. The person who carries this title is expected to be wise and just, and to be a role model for the Muslim community.
