Analogue verification

Analog verification is like checking if your toy car works properly. Sometimes, when you take your toy car out to race, it may not run as smoothly as you expect. Analog verification is all about making sure that a certain type of computer chip, like the ones that control your toy car, work properly.

Think of a computer chip like a toy car engine, and analog verification is like a mechanic checking to make sure the parts of the engine are working properly. The technician uses special tools to measure things like voltage and current, which are like how fast and strong the toy car motor is running. They also test to make sure the controls on the chip, like your toy car’s controller, work correctly.

The technician will also test the chip in different situations, like when it's hot or cold, just like how your toy car runs better on some surfaces but not on others. By doing this, they can make sure the chip will work properly in a lot of different situations.

So, just like how you play with and test out your toy car before a big race, people who work with computer chips test them out to make sure they work perfectly. That's what analog verification is all about!
