Anastrophe

Anastrophe (a-nuh-stroh-fee) is when you talk or write in a way that's not normal. Usually, we put words in a certain order, like "I love pizza." But anastrophe is when you change the order of the words to make it sound cool or to emphasize something important.

For example, Yoda from Star Wars talks in anastrophe when he says "Powerful you have become, the dark side I sense in you." Normally, we would say "I sense the dark side in you. You have become powerful." But Yoda switches the words around to make it sound more interesting.

Anastrophe can also be used in poetry to make the words flow better or to make the poem sound more emotional. It's like when you sing a song and change the order of the words to fit the melody better.

So, anastrophe is when you change the normal order of words to make something sound more interesting or to emphasize something important.
