Ancient Iranian Religion was a collection of beliefs and practices that people of ancient Iran believed in around 2000 years ago. People of ancient Iran believed in many gods and goddesses and believed that the gods and goddesses had power over people’s lives. They also believed that there was an invisible force called Ahura Mazda who was the highest power in the universe. People would pray and make sacrifices to the gods and goddesses to please them and ask for good luck or protection. They also would make offerings to Ahura Mazda and pray for good health and prosperity.
